This was our early Thanksgiving at mom and dad's. Andy had to work before and after Thanksgiving so we could only come out the week before. It was fun!

This is the kids table ;)

I could not get Emma to smile, but Alix was more than happy to pose for the picture

I finally told her to show her teeth, thinking she would smile, but she just opened up her mouth. It was so cute :)

Happy Thanksgiving from Vernal!

These are the placemats I made for dinner. It felt more like Thanksgiving with the decorations, but it wasn't the same without family there.

The feathers are little pockets to hold all the silverware. I thought they were so cute :)

The dinner table

And for dessert, Warm Cranberry Bread with Vanilla Sauce and Candied Cranberries. Yum yum yum! Even Andy liked it and he doesn't like fruit lol

Me and Coach Alsbury with her new baby. She's so cute!
I need one of those nifty place mats! What are they made of? No turkey? That's OK, I love pork roasts too. Got to end this and go eat now! HaHa
ReplyDeleteThat is a turkey! It was only 6 pounds and had no legs. It wouldn't stay upright in the pan so it cooked sideways. I sewed the placemats out of fabric.
ReplyDeletePoor turkey - no legs! Well the place mats are nifty!
ReplyDeletethose place mats are super cute! but why do you need 3 forks? you should make me some for next year :D and your dinner looked very yummy!
